Simple Things

When my mind wanders toward paths I would rather not venture down I remind myself that it's the simple things in life that bring me the most pleasure.

Alfie

When I grow up I want to be just like Uncle Clarence - but in the meantime I will just settle down for a nice, comfy snooze with Mr Dante. Ah, it's so good to relax occasionally mum.   Purrrrrrr.........zzzzzzzzzz.

Sunbathing

The kitties find the sunniest windowsill for a little gentle sunbathing and the best spot for a snuggle up with mama.

Sanctuary

My home is my sanctuary - I'm a real home bird, happiest in my own surroundings with things collected over the years which please me. A magpie by nature, my idea of Heaven is anything sparkly, twinkly, glittery, vintage, battered, worn and loved. 

Friends

The kitties are comfortable around my gentle boy and he likes to give any passing feline a quick wash around the ears just to be sure they are nice and clean.

The day unfolds

From a beautiful cold crispy morning, the ground covered in a light sparkling frost, the sky promising sunshine; to the kitties supper at the end of the day, tiny pink tongues lapping up the milk.  Beauty surrounds us if we take the trouble to notice, to actually see rather than merely looking. Every day is a precious, never to be repeated experience that needs to be cherished, made the most of :)

Pink

I think I may just love pink :))
