I love that the oranges and lemons still have branches and leaves attached. I know I'm easily pleased but to me they are beautiful. The freshness of the fruits after the rich food of the last couple of days really appeals to me. I also love the peaceful, quieter time between Christmas Day and the end of the year.Today we watched some good, seasonal films, ate simple food and waved goodbye to my daughter and her partner after three wonderful days.
All the animals are curled up, content, warm and exceptionally well-fed. It's been a good time, everything that I wished for and I'm happy.
